Just a few short months ago RIM released the Twitter for BlackBerry client in a private beta. Although there were many mirrors that offered a copy of the beta to users, it was not until yesterday morning that RIM made it official that it would be available to the public. For the most part the final public release seems to be a carbon copy of the beta release and offers the user an array of functions to make for a pleasant Twitter experience. Perhaps the one feature which sets it apart from other popular clients such as Ubertwitter and Tweet Genius is its ability to seamlessly integrate with the messages inbox; a trademark feature for native BlackBerry applications.
If you are a fan of the Facebook application on your BlackBerry you’ll definitely enjoy the UI on Twitter for BlackBerry because they are nearly identical to each other. Or if you are a new Twitter user still somewhat reluctant to stray from Facebook this will definitely help ease you into the transition.
