Samsung sent out an official Tweet today for its U.S. based Galaxy S owners informing them of the status of the Froyo upgrade.
Official statement:
“We are working to make the Android 2.2 Froyo upgrade available to all U.S. Galaxy S owners as soon as possible. ”
“We want Galaxy S owners to have simple/reliable upgrade. We r running tests due to complexity/unique functionality.”
I personally think it may be a drunk tweet, it says nothing. We have heard for months just wait it will be here in September, we mean October, definitely November and now we sit in a new year with still no update.
I am beginning to think anyone who has a Galaxy S is either a normal user and does not care or a power user and has moved onto a custom ROM. Do you think Samsung and the arriers are dropping the FroYo ball?
