Today is a great day for T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant owners. Your day has arrived. According to the T-Mobile support forums your FroYo (Android 2.2) update will begin being pushed out today.

The long wait is finally over and I guess we can now drop all the speculation about what went on with the many false starts to this update.

With the Galaxy S 4G coming out I do think this update is very late and devalued the Galaxy S brand as competitors received the 2.2 upgrade a while ago. It also makes us wonder what issues with Android updates will occur with Samsung and carriers in the future.
