It’s been a while since we heard about the Palm Pre series. Even though it has been a while, HP is hoping you haven’t forgotten about them. HP announced the Palm Pre 2 is now available for pre-order on Verizon.

The Palm Pre 2 seems to be keeping the same look as the pervious the Palm Pre with some new hardware under the hood it should be to be able to keep up with the latest smartphones available.

Palm Pre 2 Specs:

-          3.1- inch HVGA touch screen

-          5 megapixel camera

-          webOS 2.0

-          GPS

-          3G

-          1 GHz processor

-          512 MB of RAM

-          Wi-Fi (With mobile hotspot)

I am a little shocked that HP and Verizon decided to release the Palm Pre 2 at the same time as the iPhone 4 so it will be interesting to see how sales go.
