Samsung Announces The Galaxy S WiFi 3.6

By Troy D. Brown

Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 3.6. Samsung has had a busy day of announcements at IFA. For the most part this is like their Galaxy S players just with a smaller screen.

I am not sure this device is a great strategy for Samsung, there are great players on the market like the iPod Touch that will be very hard to compete with. I really think they needed to include a data only option like the iPad and and tablets offer. It would make the Galaxy S WiFi really stand out in the crowd.

Features include a 480×800 resolution display at 3.6 inches, 1 GHz processor, standard VGA front facing camera and a 3MP rear camera. Of course you also have access to the Android Market.

Pricing is slated at $250 for 8GB or $275 for the 16GB. We will let you know when we hear about availability.
