We are a little let down these devices are not launching with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) but Motorola made a bold statement today that devices released in 2012 will be running 4.1 by years end or users will get a $100 credit towards a device that does run 4.1.

The Droid RAZR R will be the first to hit shelves starting next week for $99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and a qualifying two-year agreement. The Droid RAZR HD and MAXX HD will be available before the Holidays. Kudos to Motorola on their new RAZR series.
