AT&T has announced that the LG Optimus G, the first LTE quad-core smartphone will be available November 2nd for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement or qualifying upgrade. Pre-orders for the smartphone will start tomorrow (Tuesday, October 16th).
The LG Optimus G is running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) has a 4.7 inch TrueHD IPS+ display, 1280 x 768 resolution, 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 13 megapixel rear camera with zero-lag shutter, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 2 GB RAM, NFC (Near Field Communications) support and 4G LTE.
Overall, if you’re an Android fan on AT&T the LG Optimus G might be a perfect fit. You can’t go wrong with a 13-megapixel camera. Only downfall is the smartphone is launching with Android 4.0 instead of 4.1 (Jelly Bean), but I’m sure an update will follow shortly after launch.
