Google’s press event was cancelled today due to Hurricane Sandy, but that didn’t stop the company from making their announcements online as they have unveiled the Samsung Nexus 10 and the LG Nexus 4.

The Samsung Nexus 10 has a 10-inch WQXGA display (2560 x 1600 pixel), a dual-core A15 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera, available in 16 GB or 32 GB of internal memory, a 9000 mAh Lithium polymer battery and running Google’s new Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

The other device is manufactured by LG, the Nexus 4 has a 4.7-inch WXGA IPS display (1280 x 768 pixel), Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, available 8 GB or 16 GB of internal memory, 2 GB of RAM, NFC (Android Beam) and also running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The Nexus 4 does lack LTE. This is noted as being due to size and battery constraints.

Both the Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 will be available through Google’s Play Store starting November 13th in United States and other countries. The Nexus 10 will be priced at $399 (16 GB) and $499 (32 GB) Wi-Fi version only.

The Nexus 4 will be available for $299 (16GB) or $349 (32 GB) unlocked in the Play Store, or if T-Mobile is your carrier the 16 GB versions will go for $199.99 on qualifying two-year agreement starting November 14th.
