Looks like BlackBerry got off to good a start in Canada with the launch of the BlackBerry Z10 as Rogers has reported, “it was the most successful BlackBerry launch ever”. Rogers has been selling BlackBerry devices for 14 years dating back to 1999 when BlackBerry devices first launched.
Rogers shared with Berry Review that “some stores have temporarily sold out of the BlackBerry Z10 and additional inventory has been shipped to Rogers retail locations across Canada.”
It’s good to see BlackBerry doing well in their home country and I know BlackBerry fans in the U.S can’t wait for the BlackBerry Z10 to become available. Many unlocked devices are popping up on eBay and being sold for upwards of $2,000 to U.S. customers not wanting to wait.
U.S. customers are still looking at a long delay of approximately the last week of March to get their hands on a device. If the rumors are true T-Mobile will be the first carrier in the U.S. to carry the Z10. We also understand the Q10 is about 10 weeks out from its appearance at a carrier.
