Samsung has introduced the newest member to the Galaxy line-up, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is an 8-inch tablet that can be used as a phone as well. Yes an 8″ phone. Imagine making a call on your iPad Mini of Kindle Fire HD.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 looks like a pretty good device. It offers all the same functionally as the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II, but with a new age of S Pen intelligence. Not to mention, it’s 8 inches. We are pretty sure this 8″ size, ability to be used as a phone and has a better screen than the iPad Mini was nothing more then marketing. Everyone wants to claim the best and brightest display and it appears for now, size does matter.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 is has a 8 inch WVGA display (1280 x 800 resolution 189 PPI), 1.6 GHz quad-core A9 processor, 2 GB or RAM, with your choice of 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage and will be running Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The Note 8.0 will also have a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
No prices or an official date have been given, but we can expect to see the Galaxy Note 8.0 in the 2Q of 2013 worldwide in EUR, KOR, NA, SEA, SWA, MEA, CHN, TW and LA.
