Lenovo To Launch Budget Android Tablet

HP was forced to liquidate their webOS TouchPad’s at $99 and for a tablet with no know future, they sold out near instantly.

Lenovo is going to try it’s hand at a very valued priced tablet. The hardware and software is nothing to get excited. The A1 will be running Android 2.3, no word on future availability of Honeycomb. A front and rear facing camera, 18 and 32GB models with SDCard support, 1 GHz single core processor and a 7″ screen.

It appears pricing will be $249 for the 16GB and $$299 for the 32GB model.
