Sprint Insures WiMax Through 2015
Sprint helped ClearWire out by giving them $1.6 billion to keep the WiMax network running through at least 2015, as Sprint plays catch-up deploying their LTE network. This is not a surprising move as Sprint is a majority holder of ClearWire and relies on the WiMax service for their “4G” devices. [via]
