Beluga, the very popular multi-platform chat client has been purchased by Facebook. Beluga had been in talks for Angel funding when Facebook made a purchase offer. Facebook will not only be taking intellectual property but also the staff.

It is no shock that AT&T has come out fighting with tomorrows iPhone / Verizon announcement. I do wish carriers would spend a little more money from their advertising war budget and dedicate more funds to network build-out and improvement.

Motorola announced the XOOM 10.1-inch HD Tablet. The tablet offers a Dual-Core Processer, Google’s Honeycomb (Android 3.0) Platform, and 1080p HD Video Content Support. I was able to play with one and it is a sleek, thin device with not much weight for its size.
