Apple Announces Long Rumored iPad


Yesterday, Steve Jobs of Apple announced what has yet to be one of the greatest pieces of technology since the iPhone, the iPad. Which looks a lot like an iPhone or iTouch, but much larger. The iPad has a 9.7-inch touch screen making it easier for you to answer those emails, surf the web, look at photos or even watch movies.  For being much larger you would be surprise that the iPad only weights 1.5 pounds and is 0.5 inches thick with the same slight curve as the iPhone and iTouch making it easier to hold on to. BlackBerry Messenger The Root Cause Of BlackBerry Outage


RIM released a statement this morning blaming the almost 14 hour outage on a few versions of BBM (BlackBerry Messenger) that they released over the last few weeks.

In a brief statement this morning RIM stated:

A service interruption occurred Tuesday that affected BlackBerry customers in the Americas. Message delivery was delayed or intermittent during the service interruption. Phone service and SMS services on BlackBerry smartphones were unaffected. Root cause is currently under review, but based on preliminary analysis, it currently appears that the issue stemmed from a flaw in two recently released versions of BlackBerry Messenger (versions and that caused an unanticipated database issue within the BlackBerry infrastructure. RIM has taken corrective action to restore service. Read more

BlackBerry Network Once Again Down As North America Experiences Data Outage

rimbbAnother day, another BlackBerry outage. RIM (Research In Motion) once known for a very stable network seems to be slowly failing its users in failure after failure. Today BlackBerry users were once again hit with another data outage in North America that effected BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), web browsing and most applications. Since this started earlier today it appears email is now being affected.
