T-Mobile Announces The $100 Prepaid ZTE Concord

Today T-Mobile announced the T-Mobile Concord, manufactured by ZTE. The Concord is T-Mobile’s most affordable no annual contract Android smartphone to hit the line-up.

Don’t expect a lot of high-end features on T-Mobile Concord, but it does come equipped with enough features for users to enjoy a smartphone experience. The Concord has a 3.5-inch display, running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and a 2-megapixel camera.

The T-Mobile Concord will be available at Target starting August 26th for $99.99. Walmart is selling it starting today for $99.98.

T-Mobile Introduces The Affortable Prism Android Smartphone

The T-Mobile Prism is available starting today at Best Buy stores, followed by availability May 9th through Wal-Mart and finally being available May 23rd at T-Mobile stores.

 

The Prism comes equipped with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), 3.5″ HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recorder. The Prism is priced at $19.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and qualifying two-year agreement and data plan or by it outright for $149.99.

T-Mobile has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G will be hitting the shelves at selected T-Mobile stores starting March 21. The Blaze 4G will be available for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a new two year agreement.

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Hitting T-Mobile Stores Soon

Samsung Galaxy Note Available For Pre-Order

Nearly a month later after getting the chance to play with the Samsung Galaxy Note, it’s now available for pre-order through AT&T. This monster handset comes equipped with Android 2.3 and has some major specs like a 5.3 inch WXGA HD super AMOLED display, 1.4 GHz dual core processor and an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash.

Other features include:

  • 4G/ LTE
  • 2 megapixel front facing camera
  • 1080p full HD video recording
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • 16 GB internal memory (microSD up to 32 GB)
  • 2500 mAh battery

Granted the Samsung Galaxy Note is going to be a beast of an Android smartphone, I’m a little let down that the handset isn’t launching with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). I’m sure an update will follow soon, but who really wants to wait for an update?

Android 2.3 Gingerbread Update Now Available For Samsung Epic 4G

Sprint started pushing out Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) to customers of the Samsung Epic 4G. The update will be an OTA (over-the-air) maintenance release. Gingerbread has been out for some time now, but since Google announced version 4.0 of Android  (Ice Cream Sandwich) I’m sure users would want to skip Gingerbread and jump right to Ice Cream Sandwich if they could.

AT&T’s First LTE Smartphones Are Now Available

AT&T is now offering two of their first LTE enabled devices the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid. AT&T’s LTE market just opened up to five more cities bringing the total to nine, those cities include Boston, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Athens, GA, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio. The company is expected to reach 15 markets by the end of the year.

The two LTE smartphones both come pre-installed with Android 2.3, a 4.5 inch touch display and 16 GB of on-board memory expandable to 48 GB with a 32 GB microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket will run $249.99 and the HTC Vivid will run $199.99 on a new two year agreement.

HTC Rezound Is Official – Video Promo

We’ve already seen that Verizon was prepping for the unannounced HTC Rezound. HTC has finally made the Rezound official. As expected the specs we reported have been confirmed.

The Rezound will be sporting a 4.3 inch display, a 1.5 GHz processor, Android 2.3,  8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 1080p video and a 1620 mAh battery.

A feature included with the HTC Rezound should grab the attention of music lovers as the device will come enabled with Beats for a high quality audio experience.

A launch date has not been announced but the device will be available for $299.99 with a new two year agreement. There will also be an update available for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) available in the not to distant future.

Motorola DROID RAZR Pre-Orders Online

Pre-orders for the Motorola DROID RAZR are now available through Verizon. The RAZR is said to be the world’s thinnest 4G LTE smartphone, running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

T-Mobile Announces The Samsung Exhibit II 4G

T-Mobile has announced the Samsung Exhibit II 4G. The Android powered smartphone will be running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), featuring a 3.7 inch WVGA TFT touchscreen, 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3 megapixel rear camera and VGA front-facing camera.

The Samsung Exhibit II 4G will be available at most Walmart locations starting October 27th and will be available in T-Mobile retail stores beginning November 2nd the same day as the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 launches.

The Exhibit II is offered with no annual contract for $199.99 or on contract for $29.99 after $50 mail-in-rebate. This is a great off contract device, especially taking advantage of T-Mobile’s fast data network. Read more
