Vine – Now Available On Android

vine_android

After a fairly long wait since the iOS debut, Vine has made its way to Android. Vine allows you to share a 6 second video and offers a unique interface for recording that allows you to actually tell a complex story.

Vine for Android comes with one additional feature over iOS and that is the ability to Zoom. We are hoping they add the “drafts” feature back in that existed in the iOS beta. Drafts allowed you to save partial Vines as a draft so that you could easily add content later before publishing.

Your videos will appear to your followers in the Vine app and you can also post to your Twitter and Facebook accounts.

We have found Vine a little addictive on iOS so give it a try.

You can download Vine for Android via this link.

If you’re on AT&T and waiting for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 to arrive, you’ll be happy to know the smartphone is on its way as AT&T tweeted “The BlackBerry Bold 9900 is coming! Stay tuned.”

Hopefully when AT&T says the Bold 9990 is coming soon they mean as in the next few weeks. It seems a little crazy AT&T has taken this long to make the 9900 available.

Facebook Adds Dickbar To iOS App

I am guessing Facebook missed all the news about the Twitter DickBar as today it appears Facebook has launched their own version. On iOS running the latest Facebook app you are now greeted with a People You May Know bar and also a friend suggestion that changes every time you refresh the stream.

I can see this under the friends tab but to place it on the main stream is just taking up valuable screen space and is annoying. We will let you know more about this lack learning from the past and others and it develops. For now, maybe you can find a few new friends.  Picture after the break. Read more
